Bosch to enter fully automatic coffee machines

By James Wells

MELBOURNE: BSH Appliances will launch a range of three Bosch-branded fully automatic espresso machines on to the Australian market sourced from Swiss manufacturer, Jura.

Known as Benevenuto, the products will retail from $1549.

Although small appliances are a minor focus for BSH Appliances in Australia behind the company’s Bosch branded cooking products, dishwashers and washing machines as well as the recently launched Siemens brand of premium appliances, the fully automatic espresso machines will complement the brand’s premium built-in kitchen appliances.

Bosch has also announced the launch of three new side by side refrigerators in white, stainless and platinum finishes.

Although the products were originally restricted to Queensland retailers, a faster turn around on supply has meant that models will be launched along the Eastern Seaboard this month.

BSH Appliances managing director, Paul Ravlich, said Victoria will not receive any white models until early June, but the stainless and platinum models will be available this month.

South Australian and Western Australian retailers will receive the refrigerators in June.
