MELBOURNE: M&U Imports, the importers of Muster and Hi-Lift branded hair straighteners, have issued a product recall after their products were found to potentially deliver an electric shock to its users.
The DH-001 Turbo Ion hair straightener, with serial numbers 10230 and 13320, has been recalled after it was discovered that an internal component may not have been installed correctly by the manufacturer.
According to M&U Imports, the internal component could result in an electric shock if further used.
Consumers are advised to discontinue use and return the unit for replacement at no cost.
