SYDNEY: Sunbeam has launched a major promotional program to support retailers in the lead up to Mother’s Day involving television advertising, a sales promotion and cash back offers across six product categories.

“The Sunbeam TV campaigns during the Christmas period had such a strong impact that we wanted to give retailers more support around Mother’s Day,” said Ann-Marie Weir, Sunbeam Marketing Manager – Personal Care.

The six week TV campaign features FoodSaver, BRITA kettles, Salon Technique hairdryers, Wet to Dry Straighteners with Ionic Technology, the Accura Digital Resilium iron and Emjoi epilators.

The FoodSaver and BRITA kettle commercials will be targeted at daytime viewers with the additional four commercials screening in peak TV hours.

The popular Geoff Jansz Cooking Weekend and cash back promotion returns as part of the promotion schedule, with winners enjoying a weekend in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.

The cash-back offer is available on 30 key gift-giving appliances from the food preparation, beverage, cooking and personal care categories.

All participating retailers will receive a life-size Geoff Jansz display, posters, swing tags and redemption pads for instore promotion.
