SYDNEY: Haier Australia has announced it will undertake a unique induction program with Harvey Norman proprietors and sales staff after becoming a national supplier to the publicly-listed retailer.
Haier will initially supply laundry, refrigeration and dishwasher products to Harvey Norman, while other categories such as telecommunications and IT products are currently being considered as extensions to the range.
According to Haier general manager – sales, Alan Delzoppo, the Haier management team commenced the induction program with Harvey Norman stores nationally to introduce staff to the Chinese whitegoods manufacturer’s products, philosophies and plans for future growth.
"Haier Australia sees this partnership as a major step and an exceedingly important direction for its quest to become a top three preferred brand within this market," said Delzoppo.
"As a national supplier to a prestige retail icon such as Harvey Norman, Haier is committed to establishing a strong brand presence and is keen to provide quality, reliable products that will give profit opportunities for key supporters. As part of Haier’s commitment to products, we have introduced a five year warranty across the majority of our product portfolio,” he said.
