Groupe Seb appoints three new sales representatives

SYDNEY: Groupe Seb Australia has appointed three news sales representatives after two employees were headhunted by Asko Australia’s Morphy Richards division.

According to Groupe Seb Australia managing director, Wivina Chaneliere, it was disappointing to lose the two New South Wales sales representatives, but she remains philosophical.

“Unfortunately this is business,” she told current.com.au

Groupe Seb national sales manager, Claire Ferron, has appointed two new representatives – Christine Ceinar, who has been with the company for the last two years as a merchandiser and Kathy Field, who was previously a sales representative and merchandiser with Breville for six years. Ferron has also appointed Nick Latham as Queensland sales representative.

“All of our new sales staff have excellent knowledge in small electrical appliances and have a proven track record in terms of their dedication. They are hard working and have ambition to succeed in sales. Claire Ferron is very happy to add these new staff to her team,” Chanliere said.

Last week, Groupe Seb launched a new telephone system called Avaya, which has been installed to improve customer service to consumers and retailers. To support the customer service area, Groupe Seb has appointed Peter Cunningham.

“With Avaya, it is so much easier for retailers and consumers to contact us or get re-directed to the appropriate department,” Chaneliere said.

Groupe Seb has also commenced working with its third party logistics company, NYK, who has been servicing the company’s storage and deliveries since 6 February.

“We are very pleased with the initial service levels from NYK to date and we are ready for the Mother’s Day sell-in,” Chaneliere said.
