MELBOURNE: The Good Guys has employed a privately-owned search, selection and consulting firm, Lloyd Morgan to assist with identifying new proprietors for is franchised stores.

According to information posted on its website, Lloyd Morgan was established to meet the demand from clients to not only assist with recruitment but also help with staff retention.

“As a total HR solution, Lloyd Morgan Consulting delivers a suite of human resource business services dedicated to improving client operations through better people management practices,” the company’s website said.

The Good Guys are seeking to grow through new business partnerships, following a number of changes to store ownership over the last 12 months.

Recent changes to the business include the closure of the Sydney-based Warwick Farm store and an opening of a new store at Crossroads, the closure of the Mordialloc store and the opening of a new store at Moorabbin Airport and the closure of the Thebarton store in South Australia and the opening of a new store at Mile End.

Large advertisements placed by Lloyd Morgan in the news section within major daily newspapers recently claim The Good Guys is offering metropolitan and regional opportunities in Australia and New Zealand for entrepreneurs seeking to own equity in a retail business.
