Harvey Norman has appointed its current general manager – electrical, David Ackery, as an executive director of the company. Ackery joined the Sydney office of Harvey Norman on 1 March 2005 after holding the role of general manager – electrical in New Zealand for two years. Ackery has owned Harvey Norman franchises in Queensland and Western Australia.
“David’s wealth of experience gained both as a franchisee and in his position as general manager – electrical will be of long-term benefit to the group,” said fellow Harvey Norman director, John Skippen.
“The directors congratulate David on his appointment and look forward to a long and successful association.”
