MELBOURNE: Former Hitachi Australia general manager – sales and marketing, Bernhard Kotarski, has been appointed chief operating officer at TEAC Australia in Melbourne.
Kotarski has joined the company following the departure of general manager – sales and marketing, Tania Garonzi after 12 years with the company late last year.
Prior to joining TEAC Australia, Kotarski was a partner in a Sydney-based specialist marketing consultancy called Concept AV, which he ran with another former Hitachi employee.
Kotarski joins re-appointed product development manager, Peter Burham, in the executive team which is headed up by TEAC Australia managing director, Mr Nakamura.
Burnham has returned to the company after a short period with local Toshiba distributor, Castel Australia.
Full details of a restructure of the company are expected to be announced later this week through the company’s newly-appointed public relations agent – Tesch Communications – who also manages Miele’s publicity in Australia.
