First to market with 4K UHD.

In the UK, Hisense has launched what is claims is the first 45-inch TV that fills a gap in the market between 40-inch and 50-inch screen sizes.  Hisense said that its market research found that many consumers wanted a 45-inch model as the 40-inch TVs are too small to fully appreciate the 4K resolution, while 50-inch are often too large for many homes and can dominate the space. The TV is equipped with HDR10 technology and easily connected by Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

Hisense UK deputy managing director Howard Grindrod said the company was delighted to offer this market-first product. “Over the next 18 months we are looking to extend our portfolio of products on offer considerably and this latest innovation is just one of the first developments as we aim to become market leader.”

There are no plans to launch the 45-inch model in Australia where there is a 43-inch model available.
