With a day at the races.

To celebrate its 10 year business anniversary, Harvey Norman Commercial was host to a group of over 300 of its customers, including appliance and plumbing suppliers, at a lavish cocktail event at Melbourne’s Flemington racecourse. Attendees comprised of executives from Arisit, Asko, BSH, Eurolinx, Fisher & Paykel, Miele, Smeg and Zip Industries among others.

Addressing attendees was Harvey Norman Commercial director, Glenda Bailey. “Today we have asked you to join us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Harvey Norman Commercial. It has been a long journey for me. 10 years ago, we started with three staff and now we almost have 90 staff members and we believe we are the strongest team in our industry in Victoria. We are very proud of what we do and the relationships we have built over the last 10 years with our suppliers and with you, our customers.

“I am often asked about our business growth. The other night I was at a function and I was told that I was like a conductor of an audience. But all I do is hold the baton and it’s my team around me who do everything. I believe one of my strengths is finding people who I can surround myself with who do an amazing job. The hard work and dedication of our team day in and day out has got us to where we are today.

“Our customers are the backbone of our business as well. You support and trust us with your business and the growth between us. Let’s look forward to the next 10 years,” she said.
