Narta retail member, Status Plus is supporting the Leukaemia Foundation by hosting a live cooking demonstration at its showroom in Manunda, QLD. Cooking for Chemo will be held on 13 May with chef Nick Holloway creating simple, nutritious dishes modified for changing tastes during blood cancer treatment.
Status Plus director, Ashley Balderson said, “Status Plus is proud to be the home of this wonderful event in 2017. Working together with the Leukaemia foundation and Nic Holloway of Nu Nu’s to bring some refreshing ideas to the plate.”
The Leukaemia Foundation says, “Blood cancer treatment often affects diet and nutrition. It’s a time when you might need to think more about keeping your food intake up, finding foods that don’t make chemotherapy side-effects worse, or simply finding ways to create meals that fit in with the new lifestyle that treatment has imposed.”
