Hosts Narta retail group.

Smeg Australia was host to a group of 31 key Narta retailers for an evening of celebration at the luxurious La Porte Deux in Sydney’s Waterloo on Wednesday. The event acknowledged the success of the Linear by Smeg collection and paid tribute to the group of retailers who have played such an integral role. Retail groups were presented with a crystal plaque as a token of recognition and appreciation for their contribution.

Smeg Australia managing director, Jim Kalotheos, welcomed Narta members from Status Plus, Winnings, e&s and Spartan Electrical, in addition to Narta head office personnel, thanking them for their strong support. He also outlined the bright future of the Linear by Smeg collection.

“The Linear by Smeg collection is integral to our ethos of design choice and along with Classic, Victoria and the soon to be released Dolce Stil Novo, we believe we have a very strong offer for Australian consumers,” Kalotheos said.

Linear by Smeg boasts a luxurious mirror finish in silver, white and black with a design distinguished by its aesthetic precision, exacting attention to detail and seamlessly integrated ergonomics.

Smeg global CEO, Vittorio Bertazzoni, offers the following insight into the Linear concept:  “Simplicity can sometimes be the hardest thing to achieve in terms of design; the risk is a bland product with no personality. Despite the simplicity of Linear by Smeg, it is still instantly recognisable and undeniably Smeg”.
