Welcomes health coach and chef.

Passionate cook, health coach and former My Kitchen Rules contestant, Scott Gooding (pictured below) has been appointed the first Australian brand ambassador for Whirlpool. Through his website, Scott Gooding Project, cooking demonstrations, presentations and TV, he strives to educate Australians about healthy food and the simplicity of cooking wholesome meals in the kitchen.

Whirlpool Oceania managing director, Silvia Del Vitto said, “Aligning with our core values of health, simplicity and family, Scott perfectly embodies our corporate identity in actions, values and voice. His authentic approach to living a healthy lifestyle and giving back to his community reflects both the Whirlpool kitchen range and brand personality.”

In addition to his extensive culinary skills, Gooding brings a wealth of experience as a consultant to food professionals helping them to develop innovative, healthy, on trend and commercially viable new product offerings.

Under the agreement, Gooding will be an exclusive appliance ambassador for Whirlpool in the Australian market in 2017. Through the partnership, Whirlpool and Gooding will work together to educate Australian consumers about healthy cooking, through a series of cooking demonstrations across Whirlpool Cooking social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.

Commenting on his appointment, Gooding said, “It is no secret that we have issues with weight-related illnesses in our country, and it’s quite refreshing to be working with a brand like Whirlpool, that shares my desire to change people’s perceptions about healthy cooking. Any opportunity to contribute to understanding that healthy cooking can be quick and easy with the right tools, and gives back the gift of time with loved ones and real health benefits, resonates with me.”
