Canon Australia has welcomed Kaaren Lewis (pictured) to the role of general manager of sales for Canon Business Services, bringing over 20 years of sales and business management experience, skills and relationships within the ICT industry.

Lewis has a strong background across software, hardware and services in both vendor and the channel community within Australia and New Zealand. Her background encompasses skills across sales, marketing, business development, strategy, operating frameworks, commercial contracts, P&L,CXO engagement and all customer segments.

She has led large cross-functional businesses and start-up business within global organisations such as Hewlett Packard, Dell, Compaq, IBM and Insight.

Canon Business Services director, Gavin Gomes said Lewis has a strong commercial business, general management and leadership background with a demonstrated ability to analyse business needs, provide vision and consistently translate these into great business results.

“Kaaren has a successful track record of developing and implementing operating frameworks, financial management, strategies and programs that drive business, improve sales and increase margins across all customer segments. We are delighted with her appointment and know she will only strengthen our business.”
