Week of experiences held in SA.

Bora hosted 15 select retailers for its Tour Down Under (TDU) event in Adelaide last month to thank them for their support.

South-Australian based retailer, Rawsons Appliances, partnered with Bora for the event. Firstly, with a cooking stage at the Unley Gourmet gala street party ahead of race day with approximately 30,000 in attendance. On race day, guests had the opportunity to meet the Bora-Hansgrohe cycling team at the VIP area, understand how the race works and learn race strategies.

Later in the week, Rawsons Appliances was host to 110 architects, developers, builders and designers for a two hour Bora cooking system presentation from founder, Willi Bruckbauer, as well as a Bora cycling overview.

To conclude the TDU, Bruckbauer lead retailers on a 50km ride along Adelaide’s coast with the team kit, bike and helmet.

Commenting on the event, Rawsons Appliances sales director, Jon Psying said, “The TDU in South Australia is a fantastic opportunity for Australian companies to partner with larger European manufacturers.

“Bora makes no secret of their involvement in UCI World Cycling as a vehicle for marketing. And having a UCI race here in Adelaide is a great chance for Rawsons to partner with Bora in showcasing the company’s cooking systems. Having Bora owner, Willi Bruckbauer here for a few days, we were able to expose a large number of Adelaide architects, developers, builders and designers to his amazing story.”
