Following several months of comprehensive investigations, Samsung executives will announce the cause of the Galaxy Note7 incidents and quality enhancement plan during a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on Monday 23 January 2017.
In a statement Samsung Electronics said as well as independent expert organisations who conducted their own investigation into various aspects of the Galaxy Note7 incidents, the company will share and discuss their findings of the investigations and unveil new measures Samsung has implemented in response to the incidents.
Samsung announced the massive recall and halted sales of the device in September 2016 due to a flaw in the battery during charging.
