Dedicates time to Anglicare.

The Laser team dedicated their time late last month to spend the day with Anglicare in Villawood to support their Toys ‘n’ Tucker drive. $10,000 worth of Laser product was donated, with the Laser team converging on the Anglicare warehouse to then pack these and other products into care packages for Australian families in need.

Products that were donated included headphones for children, pre-loaded MP3/MP4 players for the teens and a wide range of other products included to benefit the whole family. In total, 4,000 packs were built for Australian families in need who are under the poverty line. After all the packs were sorted, packed and shipped, Laser put on a BBQ to thank the Anglicare staff. Laser has been involved with Toys ‘n’ Tucker for the last six years, and their involvement has grown every year – from initially donating product, to having a few people involved, to this year the entire company happily volunteering their time.

Laser managing director, Chris Lau said, “It is always a fulfilling experience and an important part of our culture to give back to the community with a charitable spirit heavily embedded in our company culture. This was brought to life this year when we put a callout to our team to support Toys ‘n’ Tucker and our entire team put up their hands to help on their weekend.”
