Designed to complement blender.

Smeg has launched a travel bottle specifically designed for its blender for users to take their drinks on-the-go. The blender has an 800 watt motor, three pre-set functions – ice crusher, smoothie and pulse – and a self-cleaning blender jug.

The BPA-free Tritan 600ml Bottle to Go can be used in place of the Smeg blender’s standard jug and works in a similar way. Users place the chosen ingredients in the bottle, close the blade assembly and place it on the blender base. Internal ribs create extra friction for optimum blending performance while the cap, with spout, has a silicon seal for leak-proof use on the go and easy cleaning.

It can be used to create soups, smoothies and juices and users can blend up to 400ml of ingredients at a time. The Smoothie Control of the Bottle to Go is ideal for fruit or vegetable nutrient-rich drinks. Its sensor action adjusts the pulse and speed of the blender to ensure bulkier ingredients fall towards the blades and are blended to a smooth, even consistency. It also handles frozen fruits and vegetables with ease.

Features of the blender include Smooth-Start and ice-crush functions. Smooth-Start ensures a gradual build-up of speed to curtail spillages and splashes while the ice crush function reduces the hardest ice blocks.

The new Bottle to Go is available from David Jones, Myer, Harvey Norman and Bing Lee, as well as specialist appliance retails for an RRP of $49.00.
