With new 10.5 inch model iPads.

Apple is said to be adding to its existing iPad range in 2017 with a 10.5-inch model. Reasoning behind the move is the growing popularity of larger tablets especially among the education and enterprise sectors in the US. A report in DigiTimes said that the existing 9.7-inch iPad is too small and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro too expensive for such procurement.

Apple is also understood to be launching lower priced versions of the 9.7-inch iPad to compete with Android models.

In other Apple news, it has been reported that Apple will introduce a redesigned, flagship OLED iPhone in 2017 in addition to two LCD models at the same size as the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The new lineup is expected to launch later next year.
