Whirlpool has launched a 60cm induction oven. A key component is the induction tray that when it is removed returns the oven instantly to traditional cooking. The induction grill claims to reduce power consumption by 50% versus traditional ovens. A Cook3 function allows three different dishes to be cooked simultaneously, but on different levels and along with preventing the transfer of aromas and flavours this feature also saves time and energy. Within this 73 litre capacity oven, trays can be placed on five different levels for maximum flexibility.
The Whirlpool 6th Sense technology that is featured across its entire kitchen range, automatically selects the ideal cooking program, temperature and time once the food type and weight is selected. There are 30 pre-programmed recipes to take the guesswork out of producing meals, a soft-closing door system and Star Clean technology with a 35-minute program for delivering safe, low temperature cleaning.
