Undertakes search for replacement.

LG Electronics Australia has confirmed the resignation of general manager of home entertainment, Chris Horne after four years in the role.

LG Australia general manager of marketing, Angus Jones said, “Chris has contributed significantly to the company’s success over his tenure at LG for the past 11 years and will leave behind a strong legacy. LG Australia would like to wish Chris every success in his future endeavours.”

Prior to his tenure with LG, Horne was account executive for Maytag Appliances and account manager for Transitions Optical.

LG has also confirmed that marketing manager of home entertainment, Grant Vandenberg, has resigned from the company after three years in the role. Prior to working at LG, Vandenberg was retail activation and training manager at Samsung.

“LG remains committed to its customers and will continue to focus on creating technology for a better life. We have got a hugely dedicated and successful home entertainment team in Australia and during this period, the team will step in while we undertake an extensive search,” Jones said.
