Samsung has resolved 81% of the top loader washing machines subject to its ongoing product safety recall that was initiated in April 2013.
“While we have resolved 81% of the affected top loaders, we are continuing in our efforts to find every possible machine. The safety of our customers remains our number one priority and we encourage Australians to check their Samsung top loader to see if it’s a recall model. We ask consumers not to stop there; encourage neighbours, friends and relatives to check their machines as well,” Samsung Australia corporate vice president, Philip Newton said.
The top loader Samsung washing machine model numbers impacted by the product safety recall are: SW75V9WIP/XSA / SW65V9WIP/XSA / SW70SPWIP/XSA / SW80SPWIP/XSA / WA85GWGIP/XSA / WA85GWWIP/XSA.
