LG revealed a number of new products at the recent Integrate expo in Sydney, including OLED Arch signage (pictured below), which was exhibited for the first time globally, along with the Dual View Curved Tiling OLED signage.
LG OLED technology uses self-lighting pixels to create Infinite Contrast Ratio. It creates perfect blacks and is equipped with the latest HDR technology, which enhances images on the screen through the graduation of contrast in light and dark areas.
Taking the form of a towering arch, the structure of the OLED signage is made from flexible thin, single or double sided panels that can be curved over a two-metre radius in landscape or 1.5 meter in portrait to create tunnels, arches and shapes not possible with LED panels.
Another key technology shown at Integrate was the LG Dual-View Curved Tiling Ultra HD OLED signage (pictured below), which features exceptional picture quality and pencil-thin design, adding style to its display functionality.
The Wallpaper Full HD OLED Display also has exceptional picture quality and pencil-thin design of only 3.65mm width. Made from just two layers, it is ideal for high-end retail stores and commercial businesses. Meanwhile, the Dual-View Flat OLED Signage features back-to-back Full HD screens at only 8.94mm thin making it ideal for retail environments. It can be mounted from the floors, ceilings or walls lending itself to a diverse range of applications.
The LG Ultra Stretch 86BH5C is a new signage format, with 58:9 widescreen that can display dynamic content depending on the user’s installation environment. Features include new design configuration including Ultra Stretch Resolution and 58:9 Extended Wide Format, so content can be delivered on the one screen. The screen has multiple screen function with four divided picture-by-picture features allowing users to divide a screen into four parts in landscape or portrait installations.
Last of the LG screens is the 55 inch video wall display with ultra-thin border, offering viewers enhanced immersion. The screen offers the ability to play various types of content without the need for an extra media player due to high performance built-In Soc (system on chip). It also has enhanced picture quality with wider viewing angles and improved backlight brightness.
