Only weeks away from re-opening.
Myer Hobart store manager, Peter Monachetti (pictured) has thanked the building team, who has been working hard to restore equipment and services to the Hobart store.
“We anticipate power to be restored over the next few days which will enable our team to safely enter the building to get the store prepared for reopening.
“We are very grateful to the community for their ongoing support and we will provide a further update later in the week,” he said.
As previously reported by Appliance Retailer, the store will reopen for trade in two stages. Stage one will be the ground floor, levels one, two and three with an expected opening date towards the end of August. A date for stage two, the basement of the store, is yet to be determined due to damage from extensive flooding.
