The new Persona Glass range of small kitchen appliances from Kenwood brings stylish Scandinavian design in a glass toaster and kettle to the modern bench top. The Persona Glass Toaster and Persona Glass Kettle allow users to view the entire toasting and boiling process.
Kenwood’s Persona head designer, Darren Mullen, said Kenwood fans have been asking for a kitchen collection with a Scandinavian look and feel for some time. “Beautifully crafted and well-designed glass products for the kitchen are hard to come by,” he said.
The toaster can toast two pieces of thickly sliced bread, baguettes and bagels. It has five browning levels, a Schott Duran toughened glass front panel designed for easy access and cleaning, a high rise lift for removing toast and illuminated controls with defrosting, reheating and cancel functions.
The 1.7 litre capacity Persona Glass Kettle is ideal for families and crafted in thermal shock resistant glass. It features sure grip touch points for comfort and a flip lid with easy single-handed operation, a removable mesh filter that traps limescale and an energy and time saving one cup option.
The launch is being supported with a social and digital media campaign.
The appliances retail at $189 each.
