Breville has appointed Kate Wright as a new independent non-executive director, effective September 1, 2016.
Wright has more than 30 years’ experience in the consumer industry across Australia, the South Pacific and the USA. Her career has spanned manufacturing operations, sales, marketing, human resources and general management within the consumer sector.
She has held the position of managing director Australia and South Pacific at Philip Morris from 2001 to 2004 and head of Korn Ferry Australia’s Consumer and Retail Practice from 2005 to 2016.
Breville chairman, Steven Fisher said, “I am delighted that Kate has agreed to join our Board and believe that Kate’s insight and experience will add a complimentary skill-set to the existing Board. We look forward to working with her as we continue to drive the growth of our business.”
