The latest Choice bench mixer review has recommended Breville models, including the new Bakery Boss and the Scraper Mixer Pro, which both received a score of 89%, ahead of KitchenAid and Sunbeam.
Providing consumers with valuable feedback in this highly researched category, 60% of the judging criteria is related to overall performance, including whisking, beating, kneading dough and noise level. The additional 40% of the criteria reviews ease of use.
“The bench mixer segment has experienced steady growth over the last 12 months, particularly in the $500 plus market,” Breville business manager for cooking and food preparation, Sharon Lenzner said.
“Baking enthusiasts are happy to invest in a superb high quality mixer that allows them to achieve outstanding results. They will extensively research product options, and with a total of four models on the Choice Recommended list, Breville is in a strong position to drive growth in the bench mixer market.
Launched in April 2016, the Bakery Boss was in development for three years, with the design team focused on creating a high performance bench mixer. It received the highest score for ease of use, equal with the Scraper Mixer Pro.
“Breville will be providing retailers with Choice Recommended point of sale materials to support the Bakery Boss and Scraper Mixer Pro,” Lenzner added.
