The Jura Z6 retailing for $3,790 is “walking out the door”.

Jura Australia claims that sales of its Z6 premium fully automatic espresso machine are exceeding expectations, as the product has become the second highest selling machine by units in the company’s business.

“Jura retailers love the Z6 and it is fast becoming one of our more popular machines and it is already our second highest machine in sales by units and it retails for $3790, so it is adding a lot more value back into the category,” Jura Australia head of sales, George Liakatos (pictured) said.

“We are embracing new connected technology with a new Jura coffee app that has just launched with this machine as well. It has been extremely well-received and the quality of the coffee has gone to a new level as well with innovative Pulse Extraction Process or PEP,” he said.

“Back when we launched the Z5 in 2005, it was that first machine that hit that very high price-point and we offered a premium in-home installation service. We have introduced that again with the Z6 and with the sale of every machine we offer a free installation to the customer in their home. It is limited to metropolitan regions at the moment, but it is just another added service to give each client additional peace of mind.

“For a retailer, there is no better selling tool – once you have shown the consumer the products and explained everything, we can get a Jura representative to come to your home and actually show you in your own home how the machine works,” he added.

Liakatos said that claims that premium coffee machine sales are falling couldn’t be further from the truth.

“We are seeing stronger growth in the premium segment than we are in the entry to mid segments. It is quite unique. I am not sure if it is just an Australian thing but it certainly seems to be. We are one of the global leaders within the Jura group within the premium sector and we are selling a lot of premium machines in our market,” he explained.

The Z6 is currently available through Myer, David Jones and Harvey Norman but Jura plans to increase distribution as growth continues.

“Retailers interested in stocking the Z6 can contact their local sales representative for more information. Our advice is to get on board. It is a terrific product and it really is easy to demonstrate and show the customer how to use it. The quality of the coffee speaks for itself and we have seen the products walking out the door,” Liakatos concluded.
