Blanco has signed on as major appliance sponsor for the 2015 Cake Bake & Sweets Show, Australia’s largest experimental consumer exhibition for home bakers.

The show was held for the first time last year and attracted more than 45,000 keen bakers. This year organisers are hoping for an even bigger turnout for the three-day shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

Blanco ovens and cooktops will be integrated into a variety of show sets and working kitchens which will play host to more than 30 domestic and international pastry chefs, professional bakers, cake artists and TV personalities leading more than 150 demonstrations.

“The Cake Bake & Sweets Show is the ideal place for our brand to gain exposure. Blanco embraces the baking community and you don’t get a bigger gathering of food fanatics than at this show,” said Maver Sims, general manager Housewares at Blanco.

Cake Bake & Sweets Show integrates an expo of ingredients and equipment suppliers with a marketplace of baked-good vendors. It is seen as a powerful platform for brands to connect with households’ primary grocery buyers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Blanco to the Cake Bake & Sweets Show family for 2015,” said event director Brad Langton.

“Our passionate community command the best quality tools in their kitchens, and Blanco delivers just that with their wide range of innovative and exceptional appliances. It’s a perfect synergy and an exciting new partnership.”

KitchenAid is also sponsoring the event.

The Cake Bake & Sweets Show will be held at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park 12 -14 June and Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre 23  – 25 October 2015.
