Move over Marsala, copper appliances are vying for benchspace and the title of trendiest coloured small appliances of 2015.

Electrolux is embracing the metallic trend, releasing its Masterpiece Collection of food prep appliances in copper in March 2015, which will be available exclusively at Harvey Norman.

Here’s the official spiel from Electrolux about why copper is having its moment in the sun:

The increasing popularity of using copper tones in interiors, and kitchens in particular, has hit an all time high. Copper has an innately classic appeal that is much softer than other metallic finishes. The warmth of copper can add vibrancy to any space, and in a kitchen this is certainly something that many people aspire to. When it comes to kitchens and cookware, copper has always been associated with supremely high quality products with an element of luxury to them.

Copper works well with most neutrals and with its natural and organic appeal it can offer more versatility than many other metallic finishes when it comes to introducing these tones into your home. With the Electrolux Masterpiece Collection in copper, you can instil a sense of elegance in your kitchen with timeless appeal while preparing extraordinary dishes with the ingenious and versatile appliances.
