Blanco Australia general manager Maver Sims and divisional manager for sinks and taps Gerard Gill were recently in Cologne for the LivingKitchen trade fair, which also played host to Blanco’s international sales conference. Blanco is a Germany brand that is distributed in Australia by Shriro.

“We could not think of a better start in the year,” Blanco CEO Achim Schreiber told me. “LivingKitchen is the international show for the entire kitchen sector, in the heart of Germany.

“The trade fair is the ideal platform for us, as we once again look to inspire our retail partners, as well as planners and architects, with material innovations and tailored product concepts that are a kitchen designer’s dream.”

International sales director Uwe Johannböcke said the LivingKitchen expo was the perfect place to show off the company’s Silgranit PuraDur sinks while also discussing the strategy for marketing these products to consumers.

“Blanco is setting the highest standards again this year,” he told me. “LivingKitchen is the perfect opportunity for us to display a broad spectrum of attractive, market-oriented innovations to our international guests, and involve them in meaningful discussion.”
