The subject was the Turkish brand’s new range of TVs:
“All these years we spent trying to make them flat and now we’ve started making curved ones,” set the tone, but it wasn’t until he lamented past ‘innovations’ that he really the got crowd on side: “I just hope Curved TVs don’t flop like 3D!”.
Meanwhile, in future directions news, Erdoğan said technology like 4K, OLED and Curved screens was just the beginning of the digital age, speculating that ‘Hologram TVs’ could be the next big thing.
Cue everybody humming the Star Wars theme…
