SYDNEY, NSW: Samsung today announced the release of eight new top mount fridges which will be incorporated into its 400 litre+ consumer range.

The new models all employ Samsung’s Coolever Zone Plus technology, which enables air to circulate while maintaining optimal humidity to ensure vegetables stay fresher for longer.

Four of the new models (SR434MNP, SR447ENIS, SR533EDIS, SR512ENIS) come in a stainless steel look and feature inox technology, which is designed to give the finish of straight-out-of-the-box stainless steel, reducing the need for special cleaning products.

Samsung also said all of its models are stain and fingerprint resistant.

The new range of refrigerators also incorporates Samsung’s Silver Nano Health System.

By coating the walls and doors of the refrigerator with silver nano ions, Samsung said the system helps reduce airborne bacteria which can cause food to decay.

The new top-of-the-range models, SR533EDIS and SR532EDW, also feature manual refillable water dispensers, helping to remove the need for the refrigerator to be connected to the home plumbing system.

“Our new refrigerator models demonstrate both the technology and innovation which has lead to our success within the refrigerator sector,” said head of marketing, consumer electrics, Samsung Electronics Australia, Mark Leathan.

“By continuing to introduce stylish and functional products, we are reinforcing our product line up and offerings to consumers.”
