PERTH: To capitalise on the booming economy in Western Australia, Retravision has announced it will open the largest store in the group’s history at Malaga next Monday.

The Kambo’s Retravision home appliance superstore, located on the corner of Marshall Road and Bellefin Drive, will feature Retravision’s largest ever footprint of 3,230 square metres as well as Australia’s largest range of whitegoods and browngoods, which together with a selection of non-electrical items, will fall under one of the most aggressive pricing strategies seen to date.

Kambo’s Retravision superstore managing director, Peter ‘Kambo’ Kambouris has confirmed the competitive pricing has been made possible through a combination of the Retravision buying power, the affordable land prices and rental value offered by Malaga, and his own strategy planning that has proved immensely successful in the past.

“The aggressive pricing strategy will commence with a vast number of never-to-be repeated opening specials, with additional rolling containers and pallets arriving during strategic times of the sale to help address the issue of goods being snapped up within the first few hours of trade. The large warehouse storage space will help ensure availability meets demand at all times,” Kambouris said.

Apart from being the largest Retravision outlet in Australia, the superstore will become Western Australia’s first home appliance retail outlet to offer a complete Bridal Registry Service, with quality manchester, cookware and giftware soon available in-store.

“Gone will be the traditional home theatre display room with its assortment of different products. This will be replaced by two dedicated home concert rooms that enable the customer to view and listen to a single integrated system exactly as they would have installed in their home.

Kambouris has also confirmed the superstore opening on Monday 13 March will deliver a number of firsts for Retravision Western Australia and Retravision Australia.

The store will feature an interactive youth area that will offer a preview of the latest games or a selection of movies to watch.

Kambo’s Retravision will also boast one of the largest IT retail sections in the state, and in another Western Australian first, the store will have a dedicated Sony World area that will offer a broad selection of Sony home entertainment goods.

The store will also be the first home appliance retailer to host a TicketMaster booth to book tickets to Perth’s concerts and sporting events.
